tomorrow's leaders and um this is why we

went ahead and uh found that the young european hands earns last year to the past

the background is this is really so much is that there is already

established a young hand services i in some of the french countries

um i i know that's true for germany and switzerland i'm where i'm from

um but it's also a noun tuple austria they're about to found
00:00:52
or just found that anyone can correct me on that on

um at the end of society but there is never i'm up early last year uh then representation of

young surgeon and then your p. o. level and we thought that was some something essentially needed

so uh oh what are the goals of a such a society essentially

it's really something we already do when we use conferences like this for it's it's networking is getting

in touch with the other hand surgeons all over europe and maybe and you know not
00:01:25
not just the i'm gonna put it very bluntly not just you know the old guys big names um it because

it's in task you can we get a chance to meet them up but they'll be out of business at some point

and then i'll be just also we should know who will be in business with that's twenty years down the road

level you have to get and yes you this kind of an organisation formal layout

and uh we did that put a lot of thought into it um had um

and actually i've been signed of uh by the executive committee of the fashion

uh which uh was important it because as part of the trash um this is how it should happen

um we uh uh whoever's interested in seeing the full vision um

couple points here one that i find very important starting next you will

always have a general assembly and one of that the fashion conferences

we will um establish several standing committees um on issues i think are important

extracts you could maybe uh congress scientific advisory committee this year due

to any work fantastically involve the and and this project yeah

and um next year i'm hoping uh one of the is guys uh will join a while

and it educational subcommittee um more along these lines

the executive board itself that because uh any organisation in the governing
00:05:43
body um uh well have four members the president vice president
00:05:46
a secretary and um use one of my favourites again
00:05:50
um they had of social media and communications committee
00:05:53
uh will be in that work because it will be the communication in towards the outside
00:05:58
so and i have a i have a guy sitting all around he'll show you

the pictures there's already some as some other people who have gotten involved

and and we still have time so how would to any one of the guys who

all at a a hand surgeons in training all over europe

and um we will uh sign you up for regular use that uh well it's actually signing up with the member

only limitation to that um we common goal a lot about that

um there's an age limit as my boss always points

out it's some uh at some point you're just not young anymore and that he was saying that not me

and there's so uh we've set the h. element of um uh put joining us to the seven

okay got also apparent when they consider take an active role we need more people we need each year

actively participate in full open positions on all the committees that that
00:09:41
will be established just does file will not be enough

and we also need to to get organised um on a national level that to me like coming from
00:09:49
so it's one very surprising we've had um uh the young uh a swiss hand surgeon society for
00:09:55
well a couple years now and uh it's it's something and that worked very nicely and
00:10:00
uh at originally when we started he's i was the right into all the delegates
00:10:05
fifty percent around about uh wrote back the second time i emailed them but um the information
00:10:10
that came back is that most uh european countries don't have the enhanced versions of size
00:10:15
and i think this is something we all should work on together so ten years down the road
00:10:19
let's have a young handsome surgeons aside in every x. country and let
00:10:24
all these societies be represented a two worst fashion by its
00:10:30
so i'm gonna give you some as so what benefit will you have just
00:10:34
uh uh from no pairing with those uh for signing up um
00:10:38
one thing you know um we're nice people would be when i staying out what about we can
00:10:42
also maybe give you some information will you then you might have had heard about otherwise

um i'm not sure about the nobody you will be able to stream um uh many of the

and then also um important for all of you haven't passed the european puerto fan surgery at

and you might for that but there will be changes to how uh the exam

yeah we'll be held and uh this will affect you uh obviously not knowledge wise but uh

just uh from how uh the proceedings are going on we will inform you on that

and also a very exciting used the first and fresh academy uh will be held next february um

coming from or to p. d. background as some of you might know that it for to have the summer school
00:12:31
nikita your actively i'm involved in that what the hand surgical part
00:12:35
but uh this will be our um our very own fashion academy
00:12:39
aim to the towards uh as i'm specifically designed for us
00:12:43
and and it will be for days and good or bad but i think it's a fantastic opportunity for any of us
