Packaging applications of nonwovens have been “slow burn”. After many years of solid, but slow growth this sector is blossoming and now accounts for almost 3% of all nonwovens applications. In addition the market has shown excellent growth in the last few years. The sector is characterised by a very broad range of applications with technology and innovation key success factors. This workshop aims to open up this growth area and should appeal to packaging end-users and specifiers plus nonwoven manufacturers and converters and raw material producers.
