00:00:00
uh_huh welcome everybody so let me tell you why you should
00:00:05
join i well if you really like us that robots
00:00:10
will change the world the same way that uh computers and internet changed over the last thirty years you're right
00:00:16
so welcome i'm a huge fan since you and go fonder of liability i was uh in your shoes uh
00:00:22
it years ago i was the master student right out of the f. l. uh in my cringing airing
00:00:27
and i actually right after the the p. h. d. and quite clearly into
00:00:31
my p. h. d. um something pretty significant happened something pretty dramatic actually
00:00:37
and the full question that is asked to your remember it big explosion rubble
00:00:41
everywhere and so nobody knows what's going on and lots of people
00:00:45
take another ways to assess the situation and and you know i
00:00:49
understand what's going on this is what the robot could do
00:00:52
f. line drawn trying to capture data which robots were just not
00:00:55
ready to help humans uh in this type of situation
00:00:59
and so that that really inspired me to make better robots that
00:01:03
can help humans it this is exactly why we founded liability
00:01:07
in order to to help people take less risks and robots and sort of humans in dangerous situations
00:01:13
and that's what we do with our first product in multiple industries uh for visual inspection
00:01:18
this is in us and a drawing that is equipped with a rotating protective cage
00:01:23
and that can uh do visual inspection things uh to a powerful e.
00:01:28
d. to find a dark for a video camera thermal camera
00:01:32
and it can replace humans that were before using scaffolding
00:01:37
and a robe access and we're taking many races and which provokes a many deaths every year
00:01:43
and you know to demonstrate kind of uh the amazing capabilities of for
00:01:48
joe and here's here's the cool them all in a glacier provides
00:01:52
this is a very challenging environment for any type of technology to have a such it's
00:01:58
such camera data um and here we make flying across pretty much would easy
00:02:05
so of course to to um you know bring to market such a again changing product we
00:02:10
put in there a lot of uh different technologies and so we had lots of
00:02:15
very um challenging problems a soul uh with mechanics and materials we we
00:02:20
push really a lot of for being lightweight in integrating things
00:02:24
that we had very interesting control problems was all aerodynamics and many others and of course to to
00:02:29
manufacture hundreds of these drones uh there was a huge amount of working in this realisation
00:02:35
but it or your quickly around our office we're downtown los on and a team
00:02:40
of about fifty people uh of course we have nice facilities that workshop
00:02:44
uh to manufacture drones of flight testing room we have some production on site
00:02:49
that's what you will find there really is and
00:02:52
fifty passionate people who are driven uh in
00:02:56
the type of dry that's you have when you you know you're working for something bigger than yourself that's
00:03:02
you have when you know you have a big impact on the company and uh eventually on the side
00:03:08
it's of course uh we also have a a a ping pong room well you know it's
00:03:12
um a good time for joining for liability because uh we were growing pretty fast
00:03:18
uh we were uh not even a half of the size or to
00:03:21
the uh a year ago so that means plenty of interesting challenges
00:03:25
uh and of course plenty of opportunities for for plenty of people
00:03:32
so could that be your your next desk uh yes maybe if
00:03:36
you can and you know i think out of the box if uh
00:03:41
you're driven and i are ready to ask forgiveness not permission
00:03:46
if you are ready to work for from day one and very challenging problems
00:03:51
if you are capable of demonstrating to us your the best uh at what you do and that you can really bring us further
00:03:58
so we have open internships open positions official languages english so uh no worries feel speak
00:04:04
french and you don't drop us an email you know with them i i
00:04:15
huh
